Kuwait has built an additional six schools in a bid to supplement the efforts to reconstruct the country which has been left in ruins following years of war and political instability. This information was confirmed by Dr. Ahmed Al-Jibouri who has been following the story closely. Ahmed Al-Jibouri is a high profile figure of the Iraqi oil and natural gas sector. Dr. Ahmed Al-Jibouri is also recognized across the Middle East.
According to the sources that Ahmed Al-Jibouri has been following, Kuwait has financed the construction of six new schools. Dr. Ahmed Al-Jibouri further added that the schools are made of prefabricated and have been built in Nineveh, the northern province of Iraq. The information was also confirmed that a health activist during the course of Friday, as revealed by the source which Ahmed Al-Jibouri was following.
According to Dr. Ahmed Al-Jibouri, the schools are made of caravans and they are part of the fifth phase of a construction project which has been funded by the Kuwait’s humanitarian campaign. Ahmed Al-Jibouri revealed that the information was brought to light by Dr Ahmad Al-Haity who is the United Iraqi Medical Society for Relief and Development (UIMS) chairman. The chairman was speaking to KUNA reporters who had been following up the story.
Dr. Ahmed Al-Jibouri further added that the project is under the supervision Salem Al-Zamanan who is the Kuwaiti ambassador. Additional supervision services are being provided by the Civilian Crisis management of the Iraqi government. This was explained by Al-Haity who was speaking to KUNA reporters.
Out of all the schools that were built by the Kuwaiti government, four of them were enshrined in Nineveh’s plain region. There is another one which was built in Qayyarah camp, which was specifically meant for all school going individuals that have been internally displaced. The last school was built in the left coast of Mosul.
